"First you're served with sliced bread, then I ordered the bologna spaguetti. I've never tasted anything like that, there was nothing Italian. I couldn't eat it. And the price is exorbitant. The waiter was very kind."

"We were looking for a place to eat at the Forks and decided to try here. Both of us had beef sandwiches with different toppings. They were delicious and exceedingly generous is size. There was a great deal of tender steak, fresh ciabatta buns and a variety of toppings (arugula, cheese, onions, mayonnaise and mine had a fried egg). I would definitely go back to try the empanadas if I could resist the beef sandwich. Also we were able to sit at the bar next to the place and enjoy a glass of wine with our lunch."

"Service and quality of food is always top notch at Bonfire. Getting to know the staff here we feel very comfortable dining here and especially now that proof of vaccination is required. I do miss the grilled Irish soda bread they used to serve. The...sour dough was okay but not as good. Salad was crisp and fresh and big enough for two to share. The Manitoba chicken on their regular menu is spectacular both in presentation and flavours (fig and goat cheese). I am not a potato fan but there was no problem getting it served with rice. Fresh veggies were excellent. Pasta specials are always interesting and tonight’s was hot and spicy…..chorizo, red pepper, chicken, scallions, black sesame seeds with chili cream sauce. Pear and prosciutto pizza was awesome as was the Margarita with the addition of kalamata olives!"

"I heard from other reviews that this was a good place to eat so we decided to eat here for Mother's Day. The decor was nice, the staff and service was good and the food was tasty. However, the items on the supper menu was more pricey than we anticipated so we asked if we could still order from the lunch menu. This was at 5:30pm. They said yes! I'm glad we were able to order from the lunch menu. Otherwise, we would have spent a boat-load of money just to have supper! Anyway, this is a good place to eat. I would come back here given the chance."

"We’ve been to Hermanos in the past and enjoyed it. We were very disappointed in this visit. Received the appetizer after the entrees, were not given refills on water or offered refills on drinks. Asked for a second beer and it was never brought. Steaks were cooked very differently from what was ordered. The undercooked steak was taken back to the kitchen, and a discount was offered on the overcooked steak. There was no offer to replace it. When we received the bill, a 5% discount was given on the overcooked steak. Although it was happy hour, regular price was charged for the drinks. The bill was corrected when we asked the server about it. Overall, the quality of the food and the service were not up to par with the price."
