"After having grown tired of usual tasteless currys from my regular takeaway. I thought I'll give Mango tree a try and I haven't looked back since. The food is outstanding. Service is good. The rogan josh is one of the best currys I've ever had. I Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine Indian cuisine."

"The last time we went to an Indian restaurant was Itihaas in Dalkeith. There I had a lovely lamb dish that I’d never seen before: lamb shatkora. Shatkora are Bengali citrus fruits with a strong, limey, bitter flavour. They are wonderful in savoury dishes and I was very excited to find shatkora on the menu of Voujon when we went there last week. Voujon is a restaurant in Newington that specialises in Indian and Bengali food. The interior is fresh and open, with large windows at the front. "Wonderful, friendly staff really looked after us. Well presented venue but with a homey feel! Well and truly looked after here! Food was also amazing we had dinner here one night and two breakfast and everytime was delish!! We stopped here on our honeymoon travels and the team left a very sweet little touch to the room! Highly recommend! Not far from the centre or train station either!"

"We visited here last night on a voucher and were not disappointed. Several words spring to mind! Fresh everything we had was tasty and fresh. Delicious our favourites were the fish Lahore (my partner said it was the nicest thing he had ever...tasted and the lamb rogan gosh (melt in the mouth). Homely we felt very relaxed here and loved the Indian music. Service the lady and gent serving were just lovely. As I said go!"

"I went with my sister for a quick take away. The first time we went, it was fine and they had very nice service and cheesy chips. However, the second time was a disaster. We ordered some food, but the Polish woman working there coughed...on all of the salad ns extras and sauces. When we commented on this, she was very aggressive but we noticed a leading member of staff telling her off and saying she needed to go home if she was sick (she most certainly was). She then got even more aggressive and threatening which is a shame as it seemed like a nice establishment before. After that we asked for our money back as we didn't want food which had been coughed on, and they quickly gave a refund. But it was very awkward and we feel quite awkward about going back to a place which we were previously comfortable about and were moreover long-term customers. I am utterly appalled at the behaviour of the current staff. Cleanliness should be a priority. But it clearly wasn't. Hygiene is most important in an establishment serving food. But at this time, and with the current extremely rude staff I would never go back. I and my sister were told off for not wanting to eat food which had been coughed and spluttered on. It was once a lovely place, but with the current staff, it is unfortunately no more."
