"We ate last night at Tabla, a small Indian restaurant on St. Catherine Street in the gay village. The restaurant is quite nicely appointed, and their food is quite good.We had the Karahi Gosht with lamb, the Bengal Fish Curry, and the Palak Paneer and were able to get them spiced to our liking. The restaurant is unassuming and lets its food do the speaking for it.Dinner for 2 was a little over $40 Canadian with taxes, a bargain. We would definitely try this place again. My one disappointment was that I wanted the Duck Tandoori, but since everything is prepared fresh, it would take 25 minutes, time we did not have. Next time!"

"Hi, I had read about this place here in Tripadvisor and decided to try it. For sure my best find in the last two years. Nice decor, and the food is to die for. Trust me just try it, I don't usually write reviews on restaurants but I felt I had to with this one. Looks like nothing from the outside....just go! and let us know!"
