"Friendly and attentive staff, but my partner and I were left underwhelmed by the food, especially for the price. The bread starters were tough and served with a somehow dull olive oil. We got the scallops for an entree, and whilst the sauce was nice, the scallops themselves lacked much flavour and didn't taste overly fresh. I got the duck ravioli as a main and for $50 I was extremely disappointed. The ravioli was overcooked and served in an exceptionally bland broth. My partner got the beef sirloin which was a nice cut of meet, but was overly seared on the outside to the point of being burnt, giving the dish an unpleasant aftertaste. A good selection of wines and cocktails, at fairly standard Sydney prices. I was glad to have $50 off our bill since we were staying at the hotel, but our meal still came to $130, which could have gotten us a much nicer meal elsewhere."
