"This food lives up to all the hype and this is the reason for the 5 stars. I saw the store front on the side of the road on our way to the Everglades and insisted that we try it. OMG it was amazing. Cafeteria style service, and clean, clean, clean, super fresh and flavorful. The take out containers were heaped with food. I ordered a “completo” with oxtail, yucca and a mixed rice. My husband, a container of lechón and a bag of the most delicious chicharrón. We were blown away. I couldn’t finish and we brought it back to the hotel for dinner. We will be back for juices, sandwiches, and those desserts wow! We sat in a small area outside. I didn’t see any indoor tables."

"The only restaurant I truthfully enjoyed dining in of all Miami. They are very informative and if the waitresses were newly hired they went beyond their way to inform you on what is presented on each plate. You must try the batidos of Mamey it has the perfect texture and its refreshing."

"We went to El Palacio de los Jugos for lunch. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. The service was great, and our service was very nice and helpful. The food was super delicious! And the prices were pretty cheap. If we go back to Florida, we will definitely go to eat there again.Food: 5/5"

"Café con leche was good. I was pretty disappointed in the yuca fries coming with absolutely no sauce... would have been nice to know I needed to order that separately. The carne asada had great flavor as well as the rice and black beans. I would just be more through on my checkout next time."

"Place is nice n clean, we waited for the soup for about 15 to 20 min, other customer got her soup, (sopon) then i notice her putting two bowls of soup in the microwave, after she brought them to our table , i ask her why she had done that she stated that they need to be heated up, just a bit soup was very watery i got about 7 clams shells but no clams,lol got 3 muscles shells but only one had in. Not very tasty watery soup, i was recommended by a freind waited another 15 min to get the bill, i got better services at Macdonald. Not going back."

"Awesome tostones. Mojitos are made from scratch but the cost can add up because they go down so easily! Their signature dish, Ropa Vieja, is phenomenal! It's considerably less noisy than the other Cuban choices in town. It's family owned and they treat you like family. I call this place my diamond in the rough!"
