"WOW! This is one of the best absolute best meals we have had in Galveston and the top 3 meals ever! Small, quaint, quiet atmosphere with an excellent view of the island. The sunset view is supposed to be amazing, but we had a rainy day. We started with a French onion amuse bouche. I decided to go for their restaurant week menu, which is a 3 course meal benefitting Galveston ISD. I had the she crab soup that was perfectly creamy crabby. My entree was a stuffed red fish with saffron risotto. It was well cooked and delicious. My fish needed a touch of salt, but it was still excellent. I completed my meal with their opera cake for dessert. My husband had their lobster bisque. It was tasty, but lobster was slightly overcooked. He enjoyed the ribeye, which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and well seasoned. My husband ordered their truffle potatoes, which were amazing! The sauces they had with them were fire! He finished his meal with their raspberry soufflé which was absolute perfection! Our meals were timed out perfectly, and presentation was on point. Our server, Joshua, was phenomenal! He was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for a romantic date night! Prices were fair, and we agreed it wasn't over"

"A little expensive for what the portions are for the meal, but we have seen them. coming from atlanta, someone seemed to load $85 for hookah, $50 for ochs tail and $30 for one crab cake, excessive. the staff was very nice and the parking garage was very necessary, as street parking is not available here."

"My friend and I decided to eat at local motives because it is so convenient to the Marta Station. we ordered a round palomas and the teufelseier to start. the drinks were by far the best part of the meal. the eggs were nothing to write home. there was nothing wrong with them; they just fell flat. I ordered the special, a bbq wing dish, for my dinner. It was just okay. eating was definitely overpriced for the lack of taste and service. if I landed up again, I'd probably just stay on the bar."
