"Fantastic experience. Staff, food, environment, music and ambiance excelled. And changed since i was there last. I have lived in Newtown the last nine years and tried every thai restaurant up and down king st 10/10. Amazing food and they go out of their way to make the night extra special. Very reasonable price for quality thai. Try it or regret it. :) Thx guys. Yellow curry omg, crispy pork wow. money bags, curry puffs....................im going to shut up now, hungry."

"The restaurant looks interesting as it was always packed full of people when I walked past. So I decided to order a simple takaway food from Bangkok Bites for Sunday night. Crab and Prawn Fried Rice and Crying Tiger. Pretty standard items but it cost $29.90. <br>

Both servings were very generous and the ingredients were very fresh. Especially generous with four big, plump and juicy prawns and plentiful crab meat! The beef also tasted fresh and tender. What let both dishes down is the flavour. <br>

I love authentic Thai taste and also some well done modern Australian Thai but these two dishes did not taste right. They did not have an authentic Thai flavour albeit the restaurant is called Bangkok Bites. <br>

The sauce they used for fried rice and beef marinate are both very sweet. What I expected from Crab Fried Rice is a fluffy light flavour but the fried rice was somewhat oily, texture slightly gluggy and the heavy strong flavour of the sauce was overpowering the...

"The Grumpy Diner was happy. Sat night. We had Choo Chai Barramundi dish and fried noodle, pork, chili, veggies, stir fry. The crab filled spring roll entree was nice. Different 25cm long ! (10cm meat . We eat a lot of Thai. Very nice. Great seat facing Cockle Bay and city skyline. :"

"We ordered a takeaway prawn and vegetable stir fry. The vegetables were a large amount of onion and mushroom. No others. It was also full of horrible garlic from a jar and it was sweet. It was the worst takeaway food of any kind we have ever had. A disgraceful performance."
