"Had a genuine Greek family owned feel to it. Friendly and personalised service. Best yiros I've had in a long while. All food was nice and fresh. Takeaway or some seating inside and outside to eat in. Great choice for a quick tasty meal. Staff and owner very friendly and made our young children feel very welcome."

"Quiet spot, friendly staff and good selection of sweet or savoury waffles that tastes great! There is a list of some interesting coffee and drinks on offer thats enough to keep me coming back. Green Tea latte or Mango tea on the rocks is a favourite of mine. Prices a reasonable for the servings. The waffles tastes great, but it is a bit of wait so need some time to sit and enjoy counting busses go by. Limited seating inside but I like that there is a kids corner at the back, a book corner near the front. Worth a visit if you have time. Alternatively there’s waffle cookies to go."

"Restaurant Blackwood has been on our to do list for ages. Run by the same people who own Orana upstairs we were hoping the food was going to be good...and we were definitely not disappointed. The wait staff knew everything on the menu very well and were extremely friendly and accommodating to all kinds of customers who happened to dine on the same night as us. Each dish was well worth the purchase. For a meal out in the city without fine dining but amazing food I would certainly give this place a go. We had kanagroo crackers with a rich spicy sauce, scallops and sea plants, king prawns, two different types of salads (beetroot, pumpkin and goats curd with macadamia milk and spinach & the other ones name escapes my memory), beef tartare with potato crackers and house made Dijon mustard, hot chips with lime salt then a brownie pancake to finish off. Between two way too much food but delicious none the less. The restrooms are located up the stairs so not good for...

"This was our first visit to the German Club. It was very busy due to being a Fringe Venue but service was fast and friendly with staff doing their best. Due to the Fringe, a limited menu was on offer which we expected so we...ordered a chicken schnitzel and a pork schnitzel. (we went halves on each) They arrived very quickly but I would have to say that these were 2 of the blandest schnitzels I have ever had. The accompanying potato salad was very average. Poor value at $25 each. Later we attended a Fringe Event upstairs. This was spoiled in part by Bar Staff and Patrons yelling to each other which was quite unnecessary and interfered with a Q&A session being held on stage with Glen Shorrock and 2 of his previous co-performers. Audience members (male and female) approached the bar staff on more than one occasion asking for some quiet which was met with looks of astonishment and shoulder shrugs. Doubt we will be back."

"Came here today as I was craving for some good Korean food and overall, I found the food to be okay. The dishes needed a lot more seasoning but I suppose the flavours of the veggies made up for it. Probably should have tried other dishes but for what the food is valued, I think it's worth a shot coming here if you feel like Korean food. The place was pretty quiet at around 1pm today when I came with only two other tables filled, but the man who I presume was the owner was extremely friendly.My summarised critique:- Reasonably priced dishes- Portion size is generous- Food does lack a bit of salt but the sweetness of the bulgogi and vegetables made up for the hot pot, and the soy sauce dip added a nice saltiness that wasn't too overpowering with the pancake- Bulgogi Hot Pot (Medium - $34) (suitable for 2 people)- Seafood and Green Onion Pancake ($10)"

"Tried the Indian pancake today and I was surprised at how good it tasted! Yum! Will be back for more. There are not many brunch spots on east end and sad cafe is definitely an option next time I'm there!"
