"We ordered the beef and lamb skewers which were seasoned well. The meat had a hint of spice and the meat was tender and cooked. They provided roasted peanuts and kimchi while we waited for our entrée. Although the staff had limited english, they were very polite and we were able to find a table/order food easily. The atmosphere of the other customers with the staff made the place feel very homey."

"You have no idea how much I love the food here!!!!! I’ve been here at least 5 times and these pictures are from all different times I’ve been here because I really want to love it! Unfortunately the service is just so bad. Please note that I am not a picky customer. I never ask for alterations or substitutes to my food, I always tip well and I always say please and thank you. I’ve given this place so many chances because I really do love the food so much! The service is just so bad. I feel like I’m bothering the staff by just ordering and being there. Every time I go though, it’s always the same two waiters so I also think they are just burned out. I totally understand that but unfortunately I do have deduct points for that as a fair review as a customer. I still strongly suggest you support this place because the food really is amazing. Perhaps take out is a better option than dinning in though."

"＊ Jian Bing 煎餅果子 Every jian bing is freshly made by the auntie at the open kitchen. It was enjoyable to watch her spreading the crepe batter, breaking eggs and wiping spicy sauce onto the crepes. As every piece is made to order, it was piping hot when we got it lol it almost burnt our fingers and tongues. Folded with a thin and chewy crepe wrappers, the jian bing is smothered with two eggs, cilantro, scallions, and pieces of crispy deep-fried crackers. It was cut into two halves and placed in separate paper sleeves, so I felt like paying $5 for two pieces of stuffed jianbings was unbelievably cheap. High recommend getting a jian bing with a cup of soy bean milk to kick start your morning. Cash only. Menu is written in Chinese, so better look over the reviews online and plan what do you wanna get if you can’t read Chinese."

"If you going to try stinky tofu for first time, this place will make your journey the easiest. We got that, golden egg fried rice, scallion pancake, and salt and pepper chicken, all delicious. They also keep my tea warm with a cool candle. Btw I also got their cookie bc never had it before and it's addicting.Ling was our hostess and she is bilingual and so friendly."

"Still the best soup dumplings ???? I've ever had in the States. Deep flavors and rich soup, and strong enough wrappers to not break early. The shredded turnip shortcake was also great. There's usually a wait but it's well worth it, though be prepared ? like many Chinatown places, it's cash only."

"Seeking authentic Chinese fare on a budget? this place is going to become one of my go tos! Lemme tell you why. By the way this place is great to take your vegetarian friends because they have chive/egg dumplings and pancakes. CHIVE AND EGG PANCAKE $1.50) One of the classic household items growing up, they make them ALMOST as good as my own Chinese mother. Flat, warm, and filled with chopped vermicelli noodle, scallion and egg, it's hard to go wrong. It's subtly hearty from the egg, gets a bouncy chew from the noodles and the chives give a fragrant, veggie flavor throughout. All in a soft, chewy dough. PAN FRIED LAMB GREEN SQUASH DUMPLINGS 10 for $8) These are the best handmade dumplings i've had in a WHILE. Lamb and squash is not a filling combo you see often. these take 15 minutes to make because they are handmade fresh and then fried but it's so worth the wait; snack on your other items while you wait! Yummy, bold lamb flavor with the squash breaking up the texture a little, and unique flavor combo with chili flakes and soy sauce on the side, but the star of the show is their freshly made dumpling skin/dough which is delicately chewy and, like handmade pasta, just a different experience than machine made/store bought/left out dumplings. PAN FRIED PORK BUN 1 for $2, 2 for $3) I would also highly recommend this !! It was oh so crispy on the bottom, recently fried I bet! the kind of crispy that if i had a fork i just know it would make that nice scraping sound of a nicely fried crisp exterior. good amount of meat inside they don't skimp here, babes!!! Don't sleep on this place. I want to come back soon even though I live in another borough."
