"An easy place to miss as you drive by. Located at the old Port O' Call Motel in Nanaimo.We decided to give it a try and stop by for Sunday brunch. The place is very basic, somewhat diner style. The big screen TV had a baseball game showing, whilst non-intrusive music played.The server was a polite young gentleman, and the service was second to none.My wife and I ordered Eggs Benny. I decided to also order a pancake on the side. (OK, I was quite hungry)The meals arrived within a respectable time... the eggs benny were done as we ordered, (delicious) and came with hash browns that were more like wonderfully seasoned, pan-fried potatoes... even with those wonderful crispy bits. Included was a small side bowl of baked-style beans that definitely tasted like homemade. I thought the whole meal was excellent (including the well-buttered and well-syrup-ed pancake - is there any other way to have pancakes?).If you're OK with a simple venue (it's not fancy), but with really good food at a very reasonable price, I'd recommend you give Pier 2 a try. I'm definitely going back for another breakfast. And I also want to try their burgers :)"

"Our last day camping and we decided to eat all together somewhere near the camping site. the restaurant was great with our large group of 14 people. eating was excellent and the staff super friendly. good vegetarian options. so glad we decided to go here!"
