"I stopped at Jerry's today after leaving Rona (across the street). I was hungry so ordered the burger and fries platter. I haven't tasted fries like this since I left Halifax hardly anybody bothers to do french fries properly but this place had the...crispiest, lightest french fries going. The burger was good, too lots of cheese and mushrooms. Both for $8.95 I think Really it was one great meal. Friendly, polite staff. I'll be back. Oh both the fries and burger were hot they have a good chef. Quite a few people dining, even at 3 pm that's a good sign. It was also clean and bright lots of windows. Good space for kids."

"Enjoyed our sushi takeout during COVID 19. Spicy tuna was nicely balanced, as were the California rolls. Sushi combo was fresh and nicely presented. Disappointed in the Styrofoam takeout containers hopefully a move to paper soon!"

"What's in a plain omelette? Well nothing if you have not apprenticed for years under a real Japanese chef in Japan. This restaurant is a small unknown placed tucked in the same strip mall as Sea to Sky Dive Center. It's young Japanese chef is only there on weekends now, I believe, as it is normally operated by another family. But when the Japanese chef is there cooking his plain Japanese omelette infused with some Dashi and diligently served by his mother at your table then you are in for an omelette treat! Thin layers of fluffy and tasty egg patiently stacked one on top of each other masterfully using a rectangular pan and chopsticks. This one omelette work of art is a must try for egg lovers! And if you are still hungry, which no doubt you will still be, you should continue on to their yummy soba noodles. Try the yamaimo soba noodles which is a type of guwi ("did I spell that right?") mountain root. And that's it! That's all they really have, so talk about focused!"

"Went there for dinner with my wife for dinner. First the car park, some with Maru signs some without apparently, Maru customers can use some of the unmarked car park lots. This was the prelude of rather unsavoury experience to come. Greeting at entry was regimental directed by the waitress to a 2 person seat at front part of the restaurant. As this part was rather noisy we asked whether we could be seated further in. Ans: a regimental no. Shortly after, another walk in couple was directed (without request to inside seats. Another reason, we dislike the front seating was because we wanted to sample 3 or more dishes. The small table simply could not accomdate all of our orders. Service was haphazard and the waitress wasn 't very communicative when asking for dishes particulars. For food: the seafood pancake was clearly mislabelled just a slight hint of some (unknown seafood. It should be more correctly called Pancake with seafood flavour! Since we ordered seafood , we thought to add white wine to the flavour. OMG, Maru served lukewarm white wine (may be they confused white grape wine with Korean Soju! Walked out with unsatisfied hunger pangs and bad taste in mouth. Come back again? If and only if with my worst enemy!"

"Loved this place the food was really good. We went early so we did not have to wait too long and crowds were not too bad. But while you are waiting you can go take in the sites of the water. The place is really cute and bright in comparison to other places. We enjoyed a bike ride after to work off breakfast!"
