"Go-to spot when you’re around providence. Quality food, great ambiance, thoughtful touches that make it stand out from other cafes/ice cream stores. They have a whole array of yummy and unique flavors for your ice cream and at the register there is a cup of lactáid pills for who needs it. Loved this. The chai tea..yummyyy. The breakfast burrito also yummy. The home fries..ugh crisp to perfection. Solid spot overall to bring someone who’s hungry for breakfast-lunch time or stop by on the way from the park for a cold treat."

"The Best!!. I experience good and bad days with all restaurants but I have never had a bad day at Shanghai on Thayer Street. The atmospher, view, staff and food have always been great. My favorite is the Beef Teriyaki with an order of Chicken Shrimp Pad Thai. They have even recently added a full sushi bar with some of the best prices and delicious sushi in RI. Don't just take my word for it, go try it for yourself and if for some reason you do have an issue with something you order just ask to see the owner, he is always overseeing and ready to please you to insure you have a great dinning experience."

"We came on the good faith of the good reviews. Outside of the very pretty mural aesthetic inside, this was nothing to write home about at all. A few of our items were either overcooked (steak, eggs) or soggy (toast). The servers were very sweet, however. Our server Sarah was attentive and made sure to bring out the corrected food quickly. Overall, I wouldn't personally recommend this. Maybe it was an off day today. "

"The ambiente this place is great. it is very sweet, and the menu looked promising. the service was however abysmal. the restaurant was not busy and yet no one checked for us as soon as we got our food - nobody came by until 20 minutes after eating. and it wasn't good to eat. I got the chopped salate that was really just a little old green, 5 kicherbsen and a teespoon dressing - not impressed. that was my first visit, and I had heard that the quality of this restaurant has recently gone down the hill, but wanted to give this place a chance. I'll be back."

"Really enjoyed Noodles 102! Stopped in for a quiet birthday dinner and it exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and served promptly. The service was impeccable, just the right balance of attentive and conversational by the wonderful gentleman working the dining room. I noted on the reservation that it was a birthday for the occasion and without a word, a delicious chocolate lava cake with a candle was brought out at the end of our meal. I definitely appreciated the attention to small details and the generosity. It 's a small and cozy sort of place and just the sort of ambience we like. There was quiet conversation among the other diners, nothing too loud, and just perfect. My 11 year old absolutely adored his custom noodle bowl with chicken and ramen noodles and is begging me to learn how to make the broth because he says he needs a 55 gallon barrel filled with that broth! Haha. We 'll definitely be back to try more of the menu, everything looked so good it was hard to settle on just one dish! Pro tip: try the pan fried dumplings and the nime chow! Soooo good!"
