"Original hessian garden place! There's everything that makes the heart of the Hesse beat faster! The Äbbelwoi Schmidt is always a good excursion destination in the beautiful Walkmühltal. Whole lazy can also park right outside the door. All others walk or cycle. In principle, you can also sit inside. Don't pay. "Wir gehen immer mal wieder in den "Kaiserpalast", um dort Peking-Ente zu essen. Bisher waren wir immer sehr zufrieden. Dieses Mal hätte die Haut allerdings etwas knuspriger sein können, was sie sonst immer war. Die freundliche Bedienung sagte uns darauf, dass wir das nächste Mal sagen sollen, dass wir sie ganz knusprig haben wollen. Das Entenfleisch war aber wie immer von guter Qualität und sehr mager. Die Beilagen kann man wählen von Krautsalat, frischem Wok-Gemüse, gemischtem Wok-Gemüse bis zu den (kalten) Pfannkuchen mit Sauce, in die man die Fleischstücke original wie in China einwickeln kann. Geschmacklich waren wir wie immer zufrieden. Es hätte vielleicht etwas mehr Gemüse sein können!!! Zum Dessert gönnten wir uns dann noch wie immer die flambierte, frittierte Banane. Ein sehr leckerer Abschluss, der am Tisch flambiert wurde."

"Heute Abend besuchten mein Mann und ich wieder mal das Hinkelhaus. Aus der Tageskarte bestellte ich den Hinkelhaus-Burger mit Apfelcuttney, Onionrings, coleslaw und Pommes. Ein Gedicht. Mein Mann hatte das Handkässchnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Ebenfalls unschlagbar.Immer wieder gerne."

"We visited I-Punct twice for lunch during very warm weather at the end of May. It was delightful to be able to sit outside in the shade of the big umbrellas, on the edge of the formal gardens. The restaurant is obviously very popular with locals for family celebrations and meals for groups of friends. Be adventurous...don't just ask for the English menu, use a dictionary and ask advice if you're not sure what some of the dishes are. I enjoyed a very good meatloaf with tasty mushrooms one day and salt marsh lamb cutlets with peppers on the other. My husband enjoyed the pork snitzel with cranberries so much he had it twice, with different vegetables. Desserts included a delicious Palatshinke (thin pancake) filled with vanilla sauce and flaked almonds, with mixed fresh berries, and a very good chocolate mousse. There is plenty of choice in wines by the glass or flask as well as by the bottle, together with local beers and mineral water. Service was polite and friendly, but staff obviously get slowed up serving large parties, so try to go outside peak times. We would certainly visit again."
