"After a pretty ropey food experience in a Bob and Bert's a few years ago I have been avoiding them, but was actually quite impressed with the vegan hotdog with curry sauce and fried onions in the Portrush one. There was a couple of options, standard baked potato with beans and I think a panini. Updated from previous review on 2023-02-19"

"Quite cold in the restaurant. Unfortunately the fire wasnt lit which previously was a big attraction in this country house restaurant. Not much of an atmosphere. Staff very pleasant. Food was ok. Disappointing that there wasnt a set price for the xmas menu unless for groups of over 10 people."

"I attended an open mic night with a friend. The event runs on alternate Monday evenings. I received a very friendly welcome in warm cosy surroundings and good music to boot. Please check out the other events that the Old Forge run frequently such as the Food Culture evenings (once a month) and make sure that you indulge yourself in some coffee and sweet cake too!"
