"Early morngg ride in ecr ended with coffee at marcs cafe ,best place for english breakfast,coffee was good ,they have croissants and other stuff from auro bakery as well ,cool place to beat the sun,my take is to go a little early and njoyy the ambience there ."

"Loved their breakfast with cheesy Omlete, fries and veggies . . The chicken crepe we tried was the best we have ever had . . A simple open air place with no fancy setup . . Best to visit during morning times only . . As time gets down it's too humid and hot . . Biggest drawback is that they don't accept cards or other payment methods apart from cash . . Food is reasonably priced and worth trying it . . Will visit again . ."

"The first thing to know is that this place is way out in the vast area of Auroville. I give it stars just for maintaining their reasonably good quality over many years. The bread and pastries they make is really good, also the many...varieties of home-made style cookies to take home! One would have to go many many kilometers (about or so) to the Auroville bakery to get similar products. The restaurant is a nice meeting place for coffee or tea, with some snack South Indian dish in between when hungry. It is also a good opportunity to get wifi access. Sundaram's family maintains this bakery and restaurant, and finances their school for under-priviledged village girls with the income generated through this business. Vinod's shop for everyday needs next door comes in handy, too. And Anandi's Raw Vegan food place next door adds another more exotic colour to what is offered at this place in Auroville. It is always a pleasure to go there, as one can be sure to meet nice people in the pleasant forest environment of Kottakarai."

"Only place in and around pondy who lived until hype! first we went on a Monday and the caffe was closed, although the load was open. they always call the place they plan to go, as everyone places his own weekly...off so we went on Wednesday after checking whether they are open. ordered chill from chocolate dried tomato and pigs quiche we were told at the order that the order will take time to reach us so that we in order with the waiting time of 40mins. their smoothie and shakes are all vegan because it is a distinctive taste. all the items look up, worth the whole waiting period and we came back with a smile, which means they serve us good food. that should definitely be on their list when they are in pondy. Don't miss it. moisturizing personal, clean space."
