"AMAZING! We were on vacation. Liked it so much we come back. The prices are very reasonable. The Peach Buttermilk vinaigrette salad is delicious and the cornbread with pecan butter is sooo good! Great place to eat"

"We've been fans of LCP since we got into the area more than 10 years ago. We love the food and the atmosphere in all places. Last weekend we took a day trip to Round Top TX, a few hours from home. Our first station was in a favorite antique store called Leftovers in Brenham TX. When we saw through the small unique food section, we have discovered garden vegetable soup from Lowcountry Produce on Trask Parkway in Lobeco, SC. What a great surprise! We have 2 soups, a gum sauce and a creole sauce! We cannot visit again until August, so this will be like a mini holiday in a glass."

"I live at Pine Knoll Shores so I get over to Beaufort every other week or so. Had not eaten at this place is some months, so tried it today. It is off season, lots of restaurants closed so parking not a problem. Only a few customers, but all looked happy. I am not a seafood guy so I had the most unusual Cuban sammich (and maybe the best) and I have been to Ybor city near Tampa, where lots of Cubans live and eat. The bread was a waffle of all things, with ham, pork, cheese, pickles etc., it was just great with a healthy salad as well. A few boats went by , beautiful day, good service. Do go. Bob Ross"

"We love visiting Clawson's multiple times a month. The atmosphere is inviting, and every menu item we've tried is delicious! The $5 appetizers on Friday nights (off-season) are awesome with the Buffalo Shrimp being at the top of our list of favorites. Even during the summer months the appetizers are generously portioned and are good value at regular price. Our two menu favorites are 1) the Shrimp and Grits and 2) the Crab Cakes, which come with a tasty remoulade sauce, veggies, and an incredible grit cake. We also thoroughly enjoy the cooked to order burgers, and when they have a special with a local fresh catch it's hard to pass up! The craft beer and wine selections are plentiful and really round out a great dining experience!"
