"I visited a few weeks ago with my niece, it has one of the best stout collections on offer I've seen in a small bar. The owner took time to explain all flavours and recommend tastes. He did the same with my niece who liked lighter flavoured pale ales. He poured the beers in the appropriate glass and had a chat we us for a few minutes. I highly recommend this bar. I live in Sydney, I'll be going back soon."

"For a family dinner we had all traveled from the interstate or other regional Victoria areas and had our older mothet with us. we arrived at 6.30 to 6.45 and ordered our meals and waited and waited. it took an hour to get the net out. 2 of our party had the broken cuts. the crumb coating was very dark brown and they were hard. the other party had hühnersnitz, which was in order. was also a flop, Rhabarb crumb had sold out. for lemon meringue, which is commercially produced and very averaged. the sticky date was okay. I would pass on this totro if we were looking for a meal in bendigo."

"Attended a 60th and we ordered the gnocchi with chicken and bacon and the spaggetti carbonara both meals were hot delicous and filling served propmtly and all others in group seemed to enjoy their meals from the parma to the salmon so happy satisfied group"

"I was introduced to the bakery by a colleague who brings others for morning tea and we needed a selection of pastries for a celebration at work so the choice was obvious. The pastries disappeared in a heartbeat. I also bought a couple of pies...for lunch later in the week-wow! Although more expensive than a supermarket pie, the pastry was delicious(reminiscent of the pies of the and the filling of each just as described. I have been back since and have not been disappointed. Recommended: curry pie and potato pie. I believe their lunches are good, too."

"Ate at the restaurant. So understaffed it created mayhem. The POS (computer) was not working adding to the chaos. Meals arrived wrong twice and so late it would have been quicker to go buy the ingredients and cook it ourselves. The forgotten fried mushrooms arrived slightly charred on the outside and raw in the middle. Staff were either stoned and ambivalent or frantic and trying to save the sinking ship. Was wondering why it was filled with tourists and no locals. Now I know. Serving sizes really small now too."

"Love the old building. The interior is cosy and comfortable, massive ceiling height. Soup was delicious and meatballs yummy. Went in afternoon after seeing the Elvis exhibition across the road. Enjoyed glass of wine and food with my sisters."
