"My favorite take sandwich area in Syracuse. Try the tuna bottom with shredded salad, onions and hot pepper. Unlike most other sub-shops, you don't have to ask for extra Mayo. Another favorite is their steak sub they cook while you watch. Holly has done a good job as a manager for several years, and the well-trained staff offers fast and efficient service."

"So I wanted to make Chicken Parmesan but I wanted it to be as authentic Italian as possible so after scouring the internet i came up with a list of all the ingredients I would need and decided to stop here to get everything. I was impressed! The store had everything you could imagine from herbs, to cheeses, meats, pasta, and sauces. Everything I purchased besides the cheese was imported from Italy. I was so excited to find the Frantoia olive oil (Italy's #1 choice so I read) that I was looking for. I will definitely be back the more dishes I plan to execute."

"Shaughnessy’s is a fun sports pub located in the beautifully renovated Hotel Syracuse, Downtown. We were headed to the PBR Rodeo at the Syracuse War Memorial less than a block away. The hostess and wait staff were working with a pretty full house of customers, but were able to seat us and take our orders with hardly any delay! And they were busy hustling tables, yet friendly and “working together like a well oiled machine”. Below is what the 3 of us enjoyed- all reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! Pretzel Pups served cheddar rarebit, whole grain spicy mustard. Philly Cheese Steak Hoagie is sautéed onions,mushrooms, and cheddar sauce. The ‘Cuse Salad w mixed greens, oranges, crisp boneless chicken, NY cheddar, red onion, citrus vinaigrette Fish and Chips was wild caught haddock, coleslaw, tartar sauce, malt vinegar We’re spreading the news and plan to return with friends and family!"

"Best burgers. The original Laci's burger with rosemary Mayo and roasted red paprika is divine. They have regular frits and sweet potatoes (both delicious) and their salads are also beautiful. Last time I heard that the owner plans to open a tapas restaurant in Hawley-Green this spring - can't wait!"
