"Excellent plat du jour for a fair price- The first time I was there, I had prepared a Milanese in an authentic way, served with a beautiful salad and beautiful pasta. Every time I get back, the food is well served and always perfectly cooked.... The restaurant is cozy and the Terrazza is a beautiful place where the start break takes place."

"There are 5 tea-rooms "Philippe Taille" in Geneva, and this is the most disgusting one. The food is great but the service is horrible. The ladies packing the patisseries don't use gloves, cream and chocolate are on their hands, and to wash it off they use an old dirty towel and then touch the food again. This could be a nicer place but hygiene is not the priority. Not going back."

"Zio is a relatively new (2016 I think) Mediterranean style sandwich bar and café in the heart of the university district, with a small eat in area, and also to take away. The menu includes a selection of foccacias with ham, salmon, and vegetarian options, gazpacho, regular...sandwiches, and a small range of desserts/pastries. Staff are friendly, and the prices are very decent perhaps with consideration of the large student clientele (they also offer a student menu at reduced prices, from 12 till 2pm). Staff are friendly, and prices are very decent for Geneva. Certainly worth a detour."
