"This is a good place to spend some time while you at the top of the mountain. Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches and Chicken strips. There is a bar at the other end of the restaurant if you want a drink. There is no table service so you pick up your own food. Great place to look out over the mountains and Turnagain Arm"

"My wife and I ate at Chair 5 for our first night in Girdwood. We got the crab cakes as an appetizer, I had the fish and chips, and my wife ordered the Alaskan wild game burger. Amy was our waitress and she did a wonderful job! She recommended both things we ordered and was very quick and polite. The crab cakes had a ton of flavor, however I feel for the price you should get three instead of two. The fish and chips were very good. I am not the biggest beer battered fan, but the batter had tons of flavor and was crispy. My wife's burger was very good and was flavorful. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. Overall Chair 5 is a very good place and we would go back!"

"The wait was long, but found a picnic table outside and it was very pleasant. Biggest pepper steak I have ever seen. Everything was excellent, food, service and just joyful. Deserts were top notch! Can't wait to go again."
