"Unfortunately, the vegan menu no longer exists (I asked in Italian) and employees don't understand what vegan means. There are two broschettes that are vegan, the Pomodoro (tomatoes and garlic) and the Mediterranean (eggplant and tomatoes) that were very good. You also have soy milk so I could have a cappuccino."

"This absolutely fabulous cake/ice cream/bar is fabulous. Great place to sit and people watch. We had the hazelnut and chocolate sundae and a cherry vampire. Bill came to €24. Worth every single penny. Highly recommend"

"Calise is a fantastic Italian-style bar/coffeeshop/gelato/bakery/food (everything)! Great atmosphere sitting outside on the patio. Ciro, the main server, is a really nice guy who speaks several languages (Italian, English, German, perhaps more). Try the gelato and connolo siciliano with a coffee. For dinner, the lasgana or fettucine with ragu. We were on the island for four nights and went every night! If we ever come back to Ischia, Calise will be our first stop!"

"We went back a few times after enjoying the vibe and drinks so much! Lots of locals seem to drink here, and there's a big friendly dog which is always a plus. The staff are great, the drinks inexpensive with a huge variety, and they provide lots of food at no extra cost. We went for a friends birthday and they brought out cake and candles which was great fun."

"Lovely and ideal place to relax. Wonderful view, both from the terrace and from the beach, of Aragonese Castle, Procida, Vesuvius and Capri. Friendly and welcoming staff, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. The private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas (and pedal boats) for hotel guests is, in my opinion, a great point in favor of this structure. The structure can be easily reached by taxi boat which leaves from Ischia Ponte at a cost of a few euros each way. These short boat trips, in my opinion, are an integral part of the holiday. The restaurant cuisine is excellent. Possibility to also order excellent sandwiches for lunch which are served directly on the beach. The only problem could be the numerous stairs for those who are not very fit, but the hotel staff always comes to help with luggage transport. Found it somewhat by chance on booking, we can't wait to go back next summer. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value"
