"Great place for lunch or dinner. As others have noticed, dinner is a high end and prices are expected with this quality level. Lunch is cheaper but has a varied and tasty menu. We all seem to have our favorites. My is the penne pasta with vegetables and chicken in a thyme broth that is amazing. Big part. My friends swear at the meat store sandwich and at the shrimp pool. Try lunch. Same great atmosphere and exceptional service."

"We moved a year ago to Kilgore and Downtown D 'Lites, BY FAR, is our favorite place to eat here. If we have friends and family who come to the city, we are sure to bring them here so that they can experience it for themselves! I can honestly say that everything I got on the menu, I have enjoyed- I can't say that about any other place I've eaten. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I also love reading the Holy Scriptures on the walls. You will not find any better service anywhere else, everyone is always very friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and the service is always with a smile. Mrs. Debbie walks out of her way to try to remember the name of her ordinary customer - that just shows you what a place that is. If we think about eating for lunch, we end up with D 'Lites, because it never disappoints. Not only the food wonderful, but also the affordable, especially when you get the Daily Special. It is properly named, you must try it for yourself to fully understand."

"I spent a lot of time overseas while I was in the military and walking into this place brought back so many good memories. It is just as decorated as the small restaurants you would meet in Germany or another European country. The man was in another room hand making sausage and his wife worked behind the counter. Very friendly people! You can smell the spices when you go to the door....Ahhhh!!! I ordered the stuffed cabbage rolls and my wife ordered the stuffed paprika. It came out very quickly. All I can say about the food is...wow. All right! The potatoes were real potatoes, not the instant kind you get in food chains restaurants. The cabbage rolls were perfectly cooked and tasteful like everything you get in a European side street restaurant. It was the perfect mix of spices. The bread was warm and soft and slightly sweet. They serve on paper plates and give plastic utensils....in my food euphoria, I broke my fork....lol. But only the man and the woman work there. I think it adds the ambience of the restaurant!! We will definitely be back!! I give him a solid 5 or higher if I could, stars."

"I placed an online order 20 minutes ahead of time and when I got there, they had no cooked potatoes. We were told that it would take an additional 20 minutes. Agree agreeing to wait, 30 minutes pass and I called asking where our food was. I was told theywere ready but they forgot to bring us our food. Now, after calling asking where our food is and being promised it was comingright out, we have waited an additional 15 minutes with still no food."

"Honestly, this visit has restored my faith in Whataburger. Visit after visiting other places I consistently had a disappointing experience whether it is the service or something else. But the one I decided to give him a shot in Mr. Morgan Alex helped me with my order, we had a good conversation that he was a very friendly young man. My order came fast and it came hot, I don't think I'm getting myself for more than maybe 3 to 5 minutes before my food was brought to me. Everyone I took remembered the days was every order I tasted delicious. I wanted to order so badly another, which makes $13 price tag in the size of my belly were the only things that limit me from that. It's crazy to think that this combination of a honey-grill chicken stripe sandwich has gone from 8 dollars in 2015 to $13 in 2022. But I must say I will be back to this place and I will update my experience if it remains the same or if it changes"

"Absolutely outraged at the service at this location. Every 6 months or so they have new people because their management clearly doesn't value them. I have come in multiple times in the past and seen workers in tears and hearing them being berated my management on the ear piece, the coffee was decent until their newest crew that is rude, forgot to ring up one of my drinks and ROLLED HER EYES when I asked to be rung up for the item that was forgotten. I took the other drinks out to the car, I ordered 6) and was promptly LOCKED OUT so that I could not reorder my forgotten drink. I hope Dunkin gets it together asap. This current service is absolute trash"
