"Nice return to the chain since many years ago. Not for lack of liking Mimi’s but life changes that I haven’t been at a Mimi’s in a while. Last we as in Tri-Valley East Bay Area. Met a friend here yesterday and the experience was great. As always, the exterior or the building is immediately identifiable by the cottage look. Adorable! In the nice weather we had, the outside patio was inviting. However, my friend wanted to indoors today. The inside seating is divided into the front area where hostess station is as well as dining rooms to the right and straight ahead. It was nice to see a good selection on the sizable menu but not the 100 page tome some restaurants have to try and do everything. Breakfast is all day, by the way. I chose the Tuscan Chicken. Cut tender chicken meat with a ton of vegetables all cooked perfect (crisp, not soggy), on a bit of mashed potato, and a light sauce. OMG! I was in heaven. And the Triple Berry Iced Tea…well, I had three! So glad we went as I tend to drive by often and forget it is there. That won’t be happening again as I will be back often."

"We stopped in for lunch on New Year's Eve. Thankful they were open. . We had the chili cheese dog with fries and the meatball sub with onion rings. . Our food was hot and delicious! OMG, those onion rings.... you MUST try them, crispy but melt in your mouth deliciousness! . The customer service was spot on! We will definitely be back!"

"I can only speak for myself, so I actually enjoyed my burger very much until I tasted the processed cheese slices and that's when it went south. As a suggestion, it's easier for me if cheese comes as an option but especially *NOT* Kraft processed cheese slices. The burger started to be really good, but as soon as the artificial flavors and oils hit my mouth it coats my taste buds and makes (what others have even commented on) the food have a super horrible aftertaste. As an extreme example it's like taking a bite of petroleum jelly and then a bite of food, for me it's exactly like that though. Please add real cheeses to your menu and *only* as an option. How anyone can stomach that processed vegetable oil is really a mystery to me."

"We have already denied ourselves here and we have not been disappointed either. we arrived after 1:00 a.m. and although there was a lot, we sat fast. the service was fast, attentive and the sandwiches were excellent. the crab sandwich was stacked with crabs high, the garlics filled the other half of the plate. Pretendedly, they must love garlic because the pommes were cut with a lot of chopped garlic and cheese! not complain, only surprised to see so much! they bring a lot of breathing! we will drive out of town because the food and service it is worth!"

"We had a surprise anniversary/ birthday party for our sister and brother in law today and the food was excellent! We ordered tri tip pulled pork and chicken with a “Tatcho” bar for appetizers. The crowd of forty loved it and the staff and owners are top notch and accommodating. Highly recommended for a get together in their “Boars nest” room. They have an excellent brunch as well!! Thank you Mike and Clint! Outstanding!!"
