"Good lunch menu selections. I ordered frittata which was appropriately prepared and was served warm. It came with a light salad of fresh greens with light dressing, cand very good artisanal bread. Service was good, the waitress was informed and helpful when there was a question of how cappuccino is served. The ordering was organized and the receipt was provided. Only unusual aspect was that customers are asked to add gratuity by percentage (that is fine) before the meal was served. Otherwise the overall experience was good."

"Elm definitely seems to be one of the go-to spots in New Canaan! It was super busy there even for a Wednesday night when we went. They have a great cocktail selection, and all of the food we had was fresh and tasty. Some of our favorites were the bacon wrapped dates and the veal. All of the menu choices were great for the summer. Because the restaurant is on the smaller side inside, it did get noisy pretty fast, but it seemed like a community-oriented spot where the locals knew each other well."

"Excellent food and very cheap prices, especially in view of the area and the proximity to the railway station. Sandwiches are packed with fresh ingredients and made for ordering. I am very impressed by an experienced New Yorker! These sandwiches are so big I usually eat half and save the rest later. Soups are also excellent, and the banana pudding is from this world! Absolutely!"

"I love this place. It's a hidden gem. The grain bowls are soooo delicious and I think all are vegan with the exception of 2. My absolute FAVORITES are the Chill Bowl, the Indio Bowl, the Miso Sweet Potato Bowl, the Green Summer Bowl and the Caribbean Bowl. I always add their supposed tofu because it's the hands down I've ever had. I don't know how she does it so well, but she's been macrobiotically vegan for years, so maybe this has something to do with it. She also just started making smoothies and smoothie shells! Everything is homemade and fresh and almost all their ingredients are from fantastic small organic farms / companies. NOTE: I have tried to rate Greens on the Go 5 stars, but HappyCow reserves the right for fully vegan/vegetarian restaurants (so it is automatically 4 stars. As far as meat goes, it only serves Freebird chicken. As far as honey goes, she uses Red Bee Honey, a really good female small company. Yes, of course I wish she did not serve meat or cheese, but I am also grateful that 99% of her menu is vegan friendly. The owner of Greens on the Go (Alyssa is super cool and you can say that they have a lot of heart and thoughts in their food. Oh yes- I just told her about many good vegan cheeses and she is excited and said she will have a taste test with her staff and choose at least one to add the menu. Also note that you sometimes have to wait a little for your food. Here, too, everything I really appreciate is done."
