"Haven't been here for a few years, so decided to stop in for lunch. The restaurant was quiet, which we liked. The menu seemed smaller than I remember, certainly there not the same items on the menu that we had enjoyed before, like the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich etc They have lunch specials which is what we ordered from. I ordered the 6 inch pizza with a garden salad. Both were very tasty and I enjoyed my lunch. Hubby ordered the Little Dipper sandwich and he enjoyed it as well. Would probably return for lunch if in the area."

"Nice experience. Although we have eaten at most restaurants around the valley we have always kind of overlooked the Big Stop in New Minas. A family member ate there and got the fish and chips and was extremely impressed with the huge portion and freshness of the fish so decided to grab supper there. There is lots of great items on the menu and many great 'home cooked country meal ' options which I love. I got the roast turkey dinner and my other half got the breakfast skillet. We both very much enjoyed our meals. The service was great, lots of staff to look after everyone which was good to see, they were all very friendly and our waitress was very knowledgeable when notifying her of a peanut allergy. We got our food about 10-15min after ordering which was very good. Didn 't order dessert but after peering into the dessert fridge on the way out and seeing the beautiful pies, cheese cakes etc... Kind of regretted not ordering... but still make sure to get a piece of pie next time we stop. Two cups of coffee plus our meals came up around $37 after taxes and before tip. Very much recommended this place, we will certainly be back."

"I frequent this location each Wednesday and order the same thing. There very good at allowing me to call in my order as its a big one and it gives us both a little extra time. However check it, it's not always accurate. I love the cookies and we make stops just to buy the cookies but again it's a hit or miss. Sometimes they taste as if left over from week before. Over all a good choice but just watch them carefully or check your oder"

"No wait getting in on a busy Monday, however we waited 45 mins for our order. Our WAITRESS was amazing! She kept going to kitchen to check to see if our food was ready. She apologized multiple times for the wait, she did Not stop the entire time (she was over the age of 50) and gave the best service she could with the lack of caring going on in the kitchen. Order club sandwich bacon mac/ cheese. Barely any chicken on sandwich and mac/ cheese was ok. The wait staff hold this place together !!!"
