"He started drinking with a brown derby and the torchon of the Fois-Gras. stellar! beautiful glass red wine and mustard-crusted rack from elk for the main course. damned, so good! finished with salt carameleis (so rich and creamy! and another brown derby, because. naja, just because. great casual vibe and amazing eat! What can they ask for more? highly recommended to try this place."

"Love Wayfare’s food, and all is normally spot-on. Showed up early for a 645 reservation. Quickly seated. Saturday traffic slowly trickled in. Found service to be quite slow this time, however. Was quite difficult to get or maintain waiter’s attention, despite only being a 4 top with pretty simple order. Will be returning, but will likely stick to bar seating in the future. On the amazing side: Brussels sprouts are some of the best ever, and the pork belly gnocchi was phenomenal!!"

"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."
