"Having planned a boat trip to Bonaventure Island with a view to spending several hours hiking the trails and exploring, my husband and I asked at our hotel desk where we could get provisions for a picnic lunch. She recommended Boite a Lunch. Conveniently situated right on the approach to the pier where the boats depart, Boite a Lunch sells a variety of sandwiches for take-away. We ordered a couple of roast beef sandwiches, which come on either a baguette or thick slabs of homemade white or brown bread. We went with the brown bread. The sandwiches are large and come with chips - one would have probably been enough for the both of us. While we were waiting for the sandwiches I noticed that they seem to serve a pretty hearty breakfast, as well. If the rest of the menu is like the sandwiches, we'll definitely be back for more!"

"We stopped in here for dinner our last night in Percé because it was getting late and there was no line up, like at other restaurants. Now we know why. It’s just okay and pricey for what you get.Plastic covers the tables. That’s what I remember of the décor. It’s also somewhat dark inside. The waitress was efficient but never smiled. The food came quickly and was, you got it, okay. I had the lobster club, which came with the worst fries ever. Limp and not even browned. I couldn’t eat them. No salad side-option. My husband had the basil pizza, which he said was delicious. My son went with the 12-inch pepperoni pizza, half-of which came back to the hotel with us. His eyes were bigger than his stomach. That, with 2 ice teas, one aperitif and one garlic bread came to $87 before tip but after taxes.It’s expensive for what you get. There are so many other restaurants to choose from on the strip."

"We enjoyed this place very much. Nothing fancy here but it is a comfortable, casual and near cozy place with good food, good service, good music and good prices. It was a very pleasant change from the more upscale places we have had dinner in on our trip.They get old after a while and we really needed this place."

"What a GEM! Where do I even start? From a warm welcome by Philip to LIVE music that everyone was foot-tapping to on a Saturday night. Everything that followed kept adding positives to the experience. I am a vegetarian. I have had veggie food almost everywhere in Quebec. I have to say that their vege burger is up there in top 3 vege burgers in Quebec!! A HUGE thanks to the CHEF! After the meal we had the chance to have VEGAN Brownie that was to die for!!! If you are in Perce or Gaspe, find time for this gem! Especially if you are vegetarian... I know sounds crazy, but it is that good!"
