"Good place to have banh mi if you are in the area. The taste is authentic and good flavor. Do not taste commercial banh mi! However, I find the quantity of meat is small for the price. But it is a great quick to go place! The owners are funny !?"

"Of all the restaurants in Saint-Laurent, Mamma's provides some great pizza and other dishes, all in a pleasant environment. I eat out a lot and can vouch for the place. In Saint-Laurent, where there are quite a few places, none really compare to Mamma's nice atmosphere. We watch the game here, the staff is nice. There are quite a few restaurants in Saint-Laurent, just none better for the money. The other reviews that there is better pizza in Montreal can't be true!"

"Abu Elias is a halal butcher shop and sandwich counter in Ville St-Laurent. All their meat is cooked over charcoal so though it takes 20 minutes for the meat to fully cook and your sandwich to be prepared, it’s worth it for that perfectly smoky charcoal flavour. Not only do they sell delicious sandwiches, they also sell raw meat (marinated or not) for you to enjoy at home, or you can order giant meat platters that are charcoal grilled and ready for your next party. Their charcoal chicken is delicious, and they sell whole roast chickens too!"
