"We jet skied to Tavernier and looked for a dockside place to eat lunch. Luckily What the Fish Rolls was open. Alex the owner was very helpful and explained the entire menu to us with his lovely Italian accent. The menu was fantastic for what we 're looking for. Seafood was the main topic starting with lobster rolls and fish tacos. We had some ceviche, lobster rolls, pork sandwich, mahi sandwich and shrimp calamari. It turned out to be a fantastic set of dishes. I 'm getting hungry just talking about it. YUMM! We also got to sit outside with a canal view and you can pull your boat up right to the location, so it 's very convenient for boaters. There is no indoor seating cuz the place is so small. You can even get whole lobsters there if you want. I 'm giving this place five stars which I rarely give because the service from the owner was just so special."

"Really enjoyed our experience here. It was a little confusing on arrival (it?s nestled between two buildings and a little hard to find, and then the restaurant has two menus, one for the dreamy outside seating and a fancy one for the indoor space. Thiswas explained to us but took a few minutes to figure out where we wanted to sit. We chose outdoor for sunset and it was lovely.The food was tasty and the service was kind and friendly. The location is to die for, we enjoyed the view so much and the livemusic as well."

"They don't joke when they advertise best fish sandwich!! Wow! The famous fish sandwich is the best I had.. I had the grouper catch of the day, slightly baked, it was an extra $7 but it was worth, so delicious and so fresh. I love how it is served on normal bread, nothing too hard so that the fish is the star of the meal. 100% would recommend, can not wait to visit the keys again and come back! Also super friendly beautiful service."

"Stopped here back in October. I live in New England and had a shrimp taco up here last night that struck up two memories about Calypso's. Holy heck the food here was amazing the Tacos my wife and I had were absolutely killer, and number two I forgot to review when I was down here. I wish I could get this level of well crafted shrimp tacos up here in the North. This will be our first stop when we are back in the area for sure!"
