"I arrived at my hotel in Hirschau this evening for a business meeting tomorrow morning and was irritated to find that the hotels restaurant was closed on Monday. However I was directed to Högers by the hotelier and now, after a superb meal he is totally forgiven. On such a cold evening a warming soup beckoned and the Onion Soup was probably the best I have ever had. Next the Venison accompanied with mini dumplings and tempura battered vegetables. The batter was just so light and crisp! I hardly had room for sweet but as I gaze on the Panna Cotta I’m just about to eat I know that once more this evening I’ve made the perfect choice."
