"Lots of bad reviews so felt I needed to add some positivity. Food was very good, tasty and plentiful. I had a house burger which was perfect, and my wife's goats cheese salad was delicious. Service was excellent, and the price was pretty good given...it is in the centre of Le Mans! Would recommend and probably come here again!"

"Stopped here for a really quick lunch as in a rush.Really friendly buzzy bright restaurant. We had a terrific steak and a chicken brochette, a couple of glasses of wine and a basket of bread. Great coffee, great service and terrific value.Loved it and highly recommended. Would loved to have stayed longer but no time."

"We were looking for somewhere other than Buffalo Grill and saw this place. Just off the D313 roundabout at Le Mans on a large retail estate, not to be confused with the other Poivre Rouge at the South of town and very close to the racing circuit.Parking was easy and we arrived at about 8:30pm without a booking. The place was quite busy as it was a Friday evening. We were shown to a good table and the waiting staff were very helpful. There were six of us and chose a selection from the menu including steaks, mixed grill and the Fondue. All were well cooked and well presented, my fondue was a whole baby camembert with meats, salad and baked potato. None of us bothered with the buffet salad bar but I suspect you could have made a good meal from it on its own. We also had some desserts, Panna Cotta, Lemon Tart & Cafe Gourmet. All were very good and finished the meal off nicely. Along with beers and bottled water (still water was provided at the table) the whole meal was € 120 for the six of us. This is reasonably fast food and cheap eats."
