"Excellent food and excellent service. We sat outside as it was a cool night, but they were still very attentive. We all shared food, we shared a very fresh pizza with delicious stretchable cheese and crust, which was soft and delicious at the same time. Then we had to share a poutin where they poured this wonderful gravy over the freshly cooked frits and cheese curds. We ordered the mixed grill and the burgers to share, and the mixed grill bowl came with such tasty meat there was a grilled shrimp skewer, a bang sausage with hull that snaps in during cutting, two smaller sausages, a decent piece of grilled chicken and a fresh salad of tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, pepper and Roma. It was served with a good part of her really delicious fries. The burger, while a simple dish in the name, had such great taste, one of the best burgers we had in a while. The ambience was nice that the interior looked cozy and well decorated, but we sat outside where lights from Main Street lit and a beautiful outdoor heating we had to sit next to. I take this time to check because I woke up thinking about this restaurant and that only happens with the really good experiences. I'm happy to eat here again!"

"We love sardinia, service is great. eat very well. on this evening we both ordered the wild mushroom pasta dish. a favorit from me. the taste of this time was more of pasta less mushroom ... simply not as good as usual. next visit will order differently."

"The meal,as usual,was excellent. Unfortunately,they are closing from their current location;and moving to a new location. Information will be forthcoming as to date and location of reopening. Look forward to visiting at new location. I have been a customer from the beginning when they were La Scarpetta and have enjoyed their food for a few years. The homemade pasta is always a treat,and the veal dishes are better than most of the places in Sarasota. .Sorry,I'm a spoiled New Yorker and I grew up eating veal cutlets.They know how to cook fish so it's not over cooked and I have had a bowl of soup for dinner on those late nights when a meal is too muchLook for the reopening,it's a real treat and I'm reluctant to tell everyone how good La Violetta is,it's difficult enough getting a reservation"

"The cutest little place.. we were welcomed with homemade bread, an eggplant dip and a homemade butter to start. The Caesar salad was very good but the homemade lasagna and veal parmesan was absolutely amazing. The homemade pasta is so light and fresh it's just amazing. Can't wait to continue to come back here and try more!"

"They can not be wrong with what they choose! from fresh octopus to hand made pastas we swallow every plate that cleanses our teller! portions were perfect, they can tell the chef what they do! also a lot of food was nice to see. we enjoyed the octopus appetizer, burrata with sopressata, and for dinner rack of lamb as well as homemade pasta with truffles, yum!"
