"My experince here left me with mixed emotions. For starters the service was somewhat confused 2 waiters would ask us the same questions within minutes of each other and than we would be left alone for extended periods. Knowing my dislike of warm red...wine my colleague had informed the restaurant up front to cool 2 bottles of red wine to 18C. Upon our arrival we were then served 10-12C cold red wine....well at least they tried. The scallops we had as starters were extremely oily and with chili peppers which completely dominated the delicate taste of the scallops. The lamb to follow was however excellent! bathrooms are small and not very clean..."

"Duetto is a family run Italian restaurant, serving very nice food, composed of fresh, unprocessed ingredients and offering a very nice selection of Italian wines, of which the owner is a connaisseur. – He is apt and eager to find the right bottle to match the taste of anybody asking for advice. I spent one evening in the restaurant and I had a steak a`la tagliatelle, which was served with very nice grilled vegetables. The meat was just right – soft and juicy, neither rare nor overcooked, which balance might be difficult to reach with the grade „medium”. The dish was great! What is more, to me the prawn and asparagus salad, listed in the weekly changing menu, sounded very nice as well, and was later reported to be very tasty. – Next time, if given the chance, I`ll definitely give it a go! During the meal I also tasted the world famous desserts: wonderfully creamy, tasting of coffee and almonds tiramisu and pannacotta - not being a great fan of which, nevertheless I could value the lightness and gentleness. Since the only waiter in the place is the friendly owner, not being able to make your mind, you`ll be given first hand advice or will be offered any alternations to the menu that might be possible."
