"I love mcdo breakfast mainly because of her hathbrown and touch. Surprisingly, mccafe iced latte is better than regular iced coffee vanilla because it was not so sweet and I guess the coffee is more premium."

"Pssst. I am going to share a little secret with you. Avoid the big, juicy burgers and golden french fries ... it's Friday night so get around 50% off beers.

The burgers are big but not as tasty as the other options around the mall. Cheap beer is king here."

"The freshest, radiostest and most amazing Falafel wraps of all time. Grief Every time I was here, they served perfectly made wraps. Grief The wraps are so perfect that you can not ask anymore. Grief The recently added welcome pita was the icing on the cake. Grief My most popular court in the Philippines."

"Union Jack Tavern Makati, a former bar called Murphy's, is a British pub and restaurant that offers a variety of authentic British dishes. It looks intimidating from the front, but the place looks cozy inside. And that's exactly what the owners envisioned having a pub for foreigners and locals to just watch the game or meet up with friends with their favorite beer and barchow. In addition to the usual barchow, there are fish and chips and cakes, which are good for lunch or dinner.

I personally enjoyed the fish and chips. For P425 you get a large, battered fish platter that is served with huge french fries. Squeeze some lemon on the fish and off you go. This was really enough to satisfy my protein fixation!

I also liked the Spicy Buffalo Wings (P295). Indeed, if you like sharp, this will make the cut. This would make you reach for glasses of your homemade iced tea even more! This dish comes with celery sticks and a blue cheese dip that compliments the flavorful wings nicely.

UJT also serves cakes made with their signature bisto sauce. The Shepherds' Pie (P425) lives up to its home cooking status with a creamy and cheesy mashed potato on a hearty, meaty base. Other favorites are the steak pie and the chicken and mushroom pie, both at P395.
All cakes are served with two side dishes of your choice. You can choose from mashed peas, baked beans, french fries, hand-cut french fries, corn and carrots, mixed vegetables, French bread or regular rice.
There was also leg of lamb with a delicious barbecue sauce and a sausage roll, which was best eaten with a mustard dip. I like that their cakes look rustic and homemade, but are big enough to share. The pastries are flaky and satisfying and go well with any meat and sauce filling.

The chicken quesadilla is also a must. These are perfectly seasoned fried chicken breast strips with melted cheese, green chillies, and white onions in a large flour tortilla. Dip it in garlic sour cream and tomato salsa and this makes for a great starter!

They also have British-Indian dishes like chicken curry and chicken tikka masala, both served with fragrant basmati rice or pratha bread. The basmati rice was well done, although I was looking for the usual butter that goes on top. Both portions of curry and tikka masala were served hot with chicken and potato pieces. I have to say I would have liked bigger pieces of chicken as these tend to get lost in the sauce.

UJT is also suitable for all ages. As a parent, it was a pleasure to see that they have a kids menu and mini-shop selling imported chocolates and sweet treats. I eyed the candy eggs as we left!

UJT Makati is indeed a gem in Legaspi Village. I would return primarily to ensure the goodness of the convenience food they offer with their fish and chips and shepherd pie. Second, because the ambience reminds me a lot of McLarens', the pub from my favorite sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Finally, I definitely agree with the owner's vision of having a place just around the corner where you can just hang out by yourself to enjoy a cold mug of your favorite beer after work, or to dine with your friends or relatives, a place where you can make everyone relax and unwind."

"In all honesty, I didn't know this place existed until my girlfriend suggested it for lunch and I'm so glad she did! Tried the half fried eggplant and lamb rendang. The lightly fried, tender eggplant and mascarpone cream cheese with squid crumbs made me realize that even a simple vegetable like eggplant can taste so exotic! The lamb rendang was a pleasure to see and eat;). The buttery black rice flavored lamb was good to share and this was the tastiest black rice I've had. Loved the minty coriander sauce too! The two items cost around Php. 1000. If you haven't been here, plan a visit soon :)"

"Four items in the menu. Well actually two, burger and fries. If you fancy cheese you can have that for additional Php 30 plus 6% tax. Hole in the Wall charges you tax even if it is just a stall, without the real service of a dine in.

For Php 312 I just got the burger itself to test its real legitimacy. I also did not add any other dips that could alter what the real deal is. Good news, it is real beef! The downside was it was normal, nothing worth raving about. In fact, its patty was rather bland with some spikes of salty taste here and there. It was like they sprinkled salt on top of it prior to serving. I also find the burger too thin, which makes it more overpriced than it already is.

The Beef however has warm staff. And they do share some humor with their condiment station that states, "Leave the squeeze bottles here or we'll call the cops". Yes I love the discipline that echos to some of our lazy diners.

alwayshungry.ph"

"Surprising find for me. I don't always visit Glorietta. This is one of the branches with a variety of food to choose from. They even offer soup, sandwich, and of course their fries.

I had the criss- cut fries with soup. The fries are kinda oily. While soup is not bad, good smell."
