"Food came quickly. I asked for medium spice and it had NO spice and basically just tasted like sugar and this was the pad Thai. My partner got something else and it had a bit of flavor but mostly sugar. Hey. some people just like sugar but this is not authenic thai food. Real thai covers all other tastes not just sweet. The food there will fill your belly but it's not very satisfying. BLAH!They were playing Christmas organ music from a ghettoblaster! It was horrible and too loud. Brutal. The restaurant is a rectangle shape and It's not pretty inside. There is an ugly white fridge by the front counter. The sound echoes so it's not relaxing. I'd suggest getting take out if you want to try this place. The front desk lady was very kind. The price is fine for what you are getting."

"There's nothing like a delicious bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup is there? This was my first visit to Broken Rice. Being as how we are always on the lookout for new noodle soup places, I was excited to try this one. So, I ordered the Hot and Sour Seafood Pho and to start the Coconut Shrimp Cakes for the three of us to share having never had them before. The presentation was very nice, the Shrimp Cakes were certainly interesting and unusual but they really needed the Nuoc Mam that accompanied them. The Hot and Sour Seafood Pho was, in my opinion, neither hot nor sour...and disappointing in it's lack of flavour, thank goodness for that Sriracha sauce on the table and I have to say that I have enjoyed better Hot and Sour Seafood Pho. All that said, the service was friendly and punctual. I am undecided about Broken Rice but will make a return visit to try some of the other menu items that sounded interesting."

"Food and service was really good first time I went. Tried to order take out just now and they wouldnt answer the phone. Finally when they did answer, they hung up on me when I asked for extra beef in my curry. Thats kinda sad Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"
