"Went here with my wife for dinner and ordered pho and papaya salad. The papaya salad was one of the best we have ever had - fresh and beautifully presented. The pho broth was good, but our server did not offer us lime or basil. Very strange as the restaurant was run by Vietnamese."

"If you like pho you have to come here to try menu item #37: Tuan’s special beef noodle. It’s essentially a pho tai bo vien (rare beef and beef ball noodle soup) with an egg yolk which can be broken into the noodles to give them a creamy texture and interesting flavour. The soup is a little sweet and unique in a good way. They add a lot of beef. It has a charred, barbecue-y flavour which is unusual in pho but is yet another interesting and unique addition to this chef’s specialty dish.Other food I have tried here are average: chicken wings, beef carpaccio, pho ga, bun bo hueSince moving to the new location the service has gotten worse. I imagine they hired new staff and the service will improve as they gain experience. Looking forward to coming again since item #37 is that good."

"I wanted something hot and not too heavy. The weather was ok but the dampness in the air continues to be bothersome - I guess us Toronto boys can't take the temperate wet Vancouver weather! LOL!Hmmm...I gotta go for pho! But where? Again...open an app - type in Pho and boom. Lotus Pho comes up close by and decent rating.Does every corner of Richmond need to be restaurants with parking wars? This strip mall's largest resto was Lotus. Not used to seeing Pho places being so big. It looked like a bar in the area went under and they took it over.Had the spring rolls and their house special pho. Overall, a nice quick meal by a bunch of hard working people.It hit the spot and off I went. By the way, Pho in Richmond is a bit more expensive than in Toronto. Each item was a couple bucks more than back home."

"I was so happy when I saw Pho come to my area because we long needed it, but all that excitement faded quite rapidly. On all 3 of my visits we were encountered with rude and unappealing behavior from the staff, but the latest topped it. Knowing that there might be no outside food or drink allowed, we asked if they were ok with us bringing a cup of coffee expecting a simple "yes" or "no" answer. Instead, the staff member said "ok but we will not offer you the usual complementary tea".We quickly said "have a nice day" and left, but my question is "what does the tea have anything to do with it?"In addition the food is nothing special and at $10 it is the most expensive in the area for a bowl of Pho.Overall they seem really desperate and unsatisfied, I do not know why but that is the wrong attitude to be bringing into the service industry."
