"Donairs are a very particular thing for people much like brussel sprouts you either love it or you hate it and nothing in between I would consider myself a donair expert you might say I have eaten at about 68% of the donair shops offered in this city and often is my "Friday night" activity I typically go more then once to get a good experience of the location in this particular case here is my conclusion the seating like most donair shops is rather limiting the overall condition of the shop is maintained but not exceptionally clean however to be expect due to the product the Meat was ok very typical of most donair meats however not the same as a few other locations and im not a huge fan of fried donair meat or bottom of the spit Meat however lots of people like it crispy im more of a second cut kind of guy where the meat is cooked however still soft and tender this is not the case at this locationOnto the veggies as with most places and this place less so then most I would say that the veg consists of a larger portion of the donair and the meat ratio was acceptable but not over abundant the vegetables where fresh and crisp however one thing I did notice was they use yellow onion rather then white which typically for sensitive stomachs can leave you with heart burn also the taste is different where white onions used at a lot of locations is sweeter The biggest gripe I have with a could 3/4 of the locations I have visited and this one all the same is the sauce ! Now typically im a tzatziki kind of guy however I always like to try a donair each with tzatziki and sweet sauce before I will comment on a location or leave a review here is the verdict The sauce although flavourful and rich is what I call broke that is the milk they use due to the shear cost and volume they go through is not of high quality often leaving the sauce thin and runny where as shops that use the slightly more expensive carnation milks often do not run into this issue and result in a thicker more easily consumable sauce and donair Overall this donair shop comes highly reviewed and the food don't get me wrong is good It is not exceptional in my books I would however put it towards the bottoms of my top 10 list :)"

"I've been going to subway restaurants for 25 years at least once a month, certainly once every other month. I have tried subways in 3 different provinces in Canada, and several cities and several locations. I always had mixed experiences when it came to services, but when it came to the quality and taste of the food, I never had any problems. On Monday 28/15 I decided to go to a subway and since the 14257 23. (Edmonton) location on my way, I decided to go there. I won't discuss the service, but the food is another story. I have NIE, NIE, NIE so disgusting and disappointed in a subway in my 25 years of eating in this restaurant. I had the same thing I have for years, a foot long oven roasted chicken and a foot long steak and cheese on brown bread and oatmeal cookies. My friend and I share and everyone has half of every sandwich. The bread tasted as if it were a week old, the meat on both sandwiches were completely uncooked, although we had asked for salt and pepper, there was absolutely no taste of salt or pepper. There was hair on one of the sandwiches. The cookies were so stable and hard, I had to wash it with water. I think I can easily say I'm off Subways for months. They are very happy that I had decided to take my food home and I was too tired and hungry to go back and again their disgusting food."

"A small, quiet, inconceivable restaurant, but don't let them fool. the ethic was authentic, the service very well and all that we tasted. if I hadn't booked over an open table, I would never have found this place, but in any case again!"

If they want to make it to edmonton and eat a really good Italian, they come here. we're coming back. Oh, it was so good....I ordered another court to come back with me. excellent service over it! thanks for dinner!"
