"I have seen this place over the last couple of years and have been intrigued. Very modern, attractive place right on the edge of town of Trausdorf, and just a few miles south of Eisenstadt. Steckerlfischlgrill literally means fish (mackerel) skewered on a stick and...grilled over an open charcoal flame. I understand that the fish come fresh from nearby Lake Neuseidler, and they are crusted with Hungarian paprika. Wow. Beautiful plate. I've uploaded a picture of my plate. Simple and beautiful as well as tasty. This is a seasonal place. Looks like it is closed from end of October and reopens of April. Makes sense, because much of the seating is open air and has a rolling shade cover for rain if needed. We saw lots of people with families eating here. Looks like they have a good children's menu. I think there is a small play area for children as well. Since we were adults, didn't pay that much attention. We had a great time here."
