"One of the oldest and famous name of Punjabi restaurant is Kesar Da Dhaba. They specialise in Dal Fry with Lacha parothas. Dal cooked here is kept on tandoor for whole night and cooked on slow heat. This process adds special taste to the Dal. It is served with parathas (Indian bread) which is stuffed with lots of Desi Ghee. This is idle food for ghee lovers. If you don't relish having a lot of Ghee then this is not your place to enjoy food. They also serve paneer and black Chaney. Their preparation is average. If you like to enjoy sweet dish after your food, you can enjoy phirnee or hot gulab jamun. They taste really good. There is no parking space, so travel by rickshaw. Sitting space is big and comfortable."

"Had heard good reviews about this dhaba from the locals so decided to give it a try. Tried their Paneer Kulcha, veg thali,dal makhni and Lassi. Everything came with generous amount of butter and ghee, if you are a non Punjabi, pls have a rough idea before placing the order, it's impossible to eat such portions of meals. Coming to the ambience of restaurant everything seemed dusty and oily, staff appeared to be some what confused as they jumbled up certain orders from neighbor tables"
