"The red fir is a cottage but also a restaurant that deserves to stop between two mountain walks in the beautiful (and unknown) donezan. the reception is simple and warm; all dishes and desserts are not only delicious but mainly made home from local products: the mijanès fountain salmon, the organic carcanier vegetables, meat and charcuterie of the cerdagne and the neighbouring capcir; Depending on the season, you may have the chance to see the leader present you, just after the pickup, the harvest of ceps or girolles that will be found in the plates a few hours later. which confirms that the mushrooms you just enjoyed are fresh and recently collected in the surrounding forests. the menu is usually not displayed but the slate offers 3 or 4 entries, 4 or 5 dishes and 5 or 6 desserts. for dinner, a menu at 22 euros (flat entrance), another at 25 euros (flat entrance dessert) and a supplement of 2 euros for the salmon of fountain. the quality of the dishes largely justifies the price. particularly delicious: the delicacies of basil-parmesan vegetables or the home terrine, the famous salmon (prepared in papillote, simple and which allows to appreciate its flavor), the jarret confit, the beef language, any dessert. If you have climbed the pebble peak or the white rock, if you have swung around the lakes of rabassoles or on the lake of laurenti, you will have a great reward!"
