"It was late and I had a request for pizza so we decided to go to our local pizza place. we looked over the menu and chose the calzone. it was a campesino ball with everything in it. I thought it was small, but it turned out to be bigger than a big pizza!. not expensive, full filling and great tasting."

"Big rat running over the table, costumers yelling..and they were charged anyway, despite the rat`s show. Weeks after the event , after media critized them. managers claim costumers that day get a refund. No proof of that was given. Before that, were offered lots of apologies and promises of hard working."

"I mean genuinely terrible food and service while being completely overpriced. In my definition this is exactly what a tourist trap is. I paid 72 soles for the worst ceviche I’ve had in Lima, the Seabass had this weird flavoring, the calamari was over salted....Everything was just bad and so overpriced. If the prices were halved I’d still say this was a 3/5 stars."

"I ordered ceviche mixto, which wasn 't too bad, but when it came time to pay I found it to be S/.10 more than in the menu. It wasn 't really the money but the principle of the thing. According to the waiter the lower price only applied to 'fish of the day ', which they had run out of 'quite a bit earlier '. It was around 2pm so I was suprised that a fish restaurant had run out of 'fish '. The waiter claimed that he had announced this to the table while we were talking. My point is, why is the customer penalised when the restaurant runs out of an ingredient? I can 't judge the staff too harshly as they were attentive and kindly bought out a little birthday cake after learning it was my birthday but I do question the restaurant if it is policy to charge the customer more as soon as the 'fish of the day ' runs out."

"Wonderful first meal in Lima at Barra Maretazo. The seafood ceviche was very fresh, the service from our waitress, Indira, was warm and efficient. She spoke very good English and answered all our menu questions. We even got a surprise amuse bouche plate! Highly recommended"

"We were 8 so we booked the private room. Service outstanding and the food exquisite. We decided to share and ran the gamut from ceviche two ways (warm and cold), scallop and shrimp cau cau, fabulous tortellini, rice with shrimp, sweat breads (to die for- better then in France and Belgium), four deserts and many more. With drinks and nice tip about $45 a head with food left over, smiling, contented guests."
