"After my last update, which I made more than 3 months ago in the form of a short review, my last detailed review almost a year ago, today is a bit more detailed: The Da Linda, after the homepage, has been in family possession for 35 years, is the typical Italian around the corner. Not only theoretical, but also practical. The corner restaurant enjoys numerous regular guests to enjoy the Ristorante Da Linda. Today, however, we stayed in front of the table with the daily offer, also due to the sunny temperatures of almost 30 degrees: The restaurant with a terrace decorated in lush colours offers pizza, pasta, ice cream and Italian pastries. Quasi an Italian All for one . Mannheim had three big city gates a few hundred years ago and in I1 was one of the three largest gates, but if you look around in the small square, you can imagine that very hard. There are 4 large screens in front of the Ristorante, including numerous tables and chairs. We were looking for a nice shady table and we took place. All chairs with bistro character have comfortable armrests, they dive for a longer time of visit, which was also necessary today, nothing was before our order a large customer order (wedding ended). The card invites you to an appetizer, main dinner and dessert. In general, however, the foods or the pasta eggs look very large. The offer also includes a main dish with a small drink. Today we choose Tortellini ala Panna, I choose the day offer Medallion Caprese, with spaghetti and salad (on the map for 13.90 standing as today's day dish for record suspects 8.90. To drink I usually order the dark yeast of the bottle, the bright King Ludwig comes out of the barrel and is usually as clear as a crystal. After 5 minutes the drinks came, after a quarter of an hour the salad came. The salad was delicious, but unusual in German for an Italian restaurant in Mannheim. The dressing was very cream/saure cream, we like it already, but not with the Italian. Also the complete salad was not made. Finally, the restaurant dispenses with the cheap iceberg salad and uses fresh head salad. Then we had to wait a bit, the waiting period was shortened by King Ludwig number 2, and we had a great place to watch Mannheimer Fahren. We were only disturbed by the brass band “the 5 Lewinsky`s”, which today opened the Mannheim trade fair and moved from the Paradeplatz towards the Messplatz. There's always something going on in Mannheim. Among other things, the SWR Studio and the Tagesschau Tage reported that Mannheim was the first German city in Tel A Viv and Istanbul, which can be mixed musically. The Tortellini ala Panna was first served: These are made by the owner family itself and at the first bite my wife said: “These are not bags tortellini”, the sauce wonderfully creamy and simply taste to parmesan, the tortellini with beautiful fluffy dough taste, a pleasure with every bite. Excellent also my day meal: two slices of pork fillet, tender and juicy roasted, a fresh slice of tomatoes and good mozzarella. I think the meat was further refined with tomato salt to pimp the taste. Not to mention that the spaghetti perfectly al dente, beautifully lubricated, refreshing tomato sauce, the small tomato slices in the sauce raised the whole on perfectly deserved 5 stars during the meal. We did not find the small beauty mistakes in recent reviews – minor weaknesses in meat dishes. Maybe with Andi and his favorite wife? Conclusion: Huete once again convinced us the Da Linda 100%. Pasta dishes or meat dishes, the kitchen team can do something and that for a few years. If you are hungry, I recommend the record in the type of house for 2 people – but this is not on the map, which then are at least six seven different pasta versions with up to six different sauces. "Ich war hier mit einer Freundin zu einem Essen unter der Woche um die Mittagszeit.Wir wurden umgehend von zwei!!! überaus bemühten Personen umsorgt. Wir wählten ein Gericht aus der Business Lunch Karte, welches uns sehr zusagte. Preislich absolut ok, qualitativ gut und frisch. Service schnell und freundlich.Auch das Dessert (Panna cotta incl Esspresso) sehr empfehlenswert und günstig..Weiter so!"

"Also erst mal zu lokation ein sehr kleiner Restaurant mit wirklichen Platzmangel selbst in dem Pavillon ,man sitzt wirklich wie eine Presswurst zusammen .dann wartet man sehr sehr lange auf sein Essen selbst bei einem lächerlich antipasti hat man eine warte Zeit von einer Dreiviertel Stunde ne halbe Stunde für die Getränke die Bedienung ist nur ein älterer herr der nur Speerlich hinterher kommt .ich habe das schon für eine Frechheit empfunden so eine warte zeit dann kann das Essen noch so gut sein .ich bin selbst Italiener und finde es echt sch..... Die Leute so abzufertigen .fazit das was für mich das erste und letzte mal und das Essen an sich ist auch ok gewesen aber nicht so berauschend das man sagen könnte das die warte zeit das berichtigt"

"On arrival at half a six o'clock in the evening, the Apulian restaurant was quite empty, but there was a “maintained” sign at almost all tables and we briefly stopped the air when the Nardelli family wanted to put us three in a small corner table. My wife called for lunch and reserved a large four table for us three, as we know that the tables are very close to Da Michele. In 1966, Feudenheim became his 1200-year-old feeder. In 1986, the Maulbeer Island and the Wörthel, which were created by the construction of the canal and since then offered a natural habitat for a variety of plants and animals, were raised to the nature reserve. It is also worth mentioning the Citizens' Park with the natural monument bell created in recent years. The purchase and service offer in predominantly family-run shops covers all areas of demand. On Friday there is also a weekly market in the town hall. For children and adolescents, there are seven days of day nurseries in the district, a primary school, a real school and a gymnasium that visits Xavier Naidoo. For more than 25 years, Michelle Nardelli and family have been thrilling with a hand of selected dishes and wines from Apulia, one of the oldest vineyards in the world. The interior strongly recalls the former Da Michelle in Landau, which houses the counter under a brick roof, the rest of the tables are noble, although strongly arranged. The espresso has 65 seats that are far enough. Just before 8:00. I skipped the guests, there were about 80 in the guest room, much too much, the volume was extremely high, three of us moaned the head, that was too much. We will then be placed on a larger table, next to us the daily recommendations on the slate table: recommendation card power, what is going on, we look in the menu, here the prices a bit high, but still everything in the green area, as it is so beautiful. I take the calf steak 280 grams from the standard card, with gorgonzola sauce and pommes, instead of supplement salad I pimpe a small Italian salad as a supplement (up to 1.50). The two ladies take a small mixed salad (3,50). My wife takes the spaghetti Carbonara, her mother the Tortellini “ ala panna”, both dishes around the 8 euros. The Italian expert knows: Carbonara stands for coal dealers and is marked as black spots in court. Either fried bacon or fresh from the pepper mill. And finally: Carbonara After a long time we finally get the Carbonara “Italian” means without the cup cream. The Tortellini also convinces over the whole line. Nice bite, the sauce easily remembers parmesan and cream. A highlight of my calfs. A dream, tender, juicy. The frits wonderful, slightly salted. A dream to do the Pommes in the sauce that recalls Gorgonzola Kalbssteak with Gorgonzola. There was the little Italian: Italian little salad with artichokes that I pulled out the window, the best dressed salad in Mannheim. Large olive oil, slightly scratched in the neck, refreshing vinegar, fresh herbs. Well tasted with lemon and sugar. Perfect. To steak I ordered an apulian “Monte Pulciano”, the district for 5 euros, a very good companion. Only my wife didn't make her serve her apology. The section, well meant, was a lumberjack section. Who stands on large salads, the large Italian salad is put in the heart. Since I was still sweet, I chose the “Dessert Variation” standing on the slate table: Dessert Variation I liked Zuccotto, right on the picture. A freshly baked apulian cake. Sensationell, there were fresh Panna Cotta and a small piece of cake. Conclusion: Unfortunately it was too loud in the evening, apparently most guests hadn't seen at the tables for a few weeks and naturally tried to exaggerate the other table in the band. Some confuse a restaurant with a standing pub, a pity. You could help him by pulling out half the tables. But: then the Nardelli family would only earn half, because “Da Michele” is full almost every day. But a recommendation, not just for salads."
