"A hot day in July it was indeed, but it cooled off a bit as evening approached with a breeze. My wife and I sat out on the Deck at Northampton's Platform Sports Bar- a great venue by Northampton's Union Station. My wife had a Cobb Salad, French Fries anda glass of Chardonnay. I had the Classic Burger and Napa Cabbage Slaw, with a Lagunitas IPA. We enjoyed the al frescoexperience of the outdoors area. Service was slow, but the place was overflowing with customers. We were relaxed and lazy, sobeing absolutely unrushed was fine. I did not take photos on the Deck (too crowded) or of the food (too much good conversationand victuals). But I took several photos of the surrounding buildings (including Union Station) as it is an area with unusuallyhistoric flavor and style (as in The Tunnel Bar)."

"First and foremost, we could not be happier to be writing this review, as we had the most amazing experience all around at Union Station. Starting with the venue, it is absolutely perfect. It was the first venue we toured almost two years ago, and we knew the moment we walked in that it would be our wedding venue. The venue is stunning, classy, and we received numerous compliments throughout the night from our guests as to how much they LOVED Union Station, and how perfect it was. Robert, our personal waiter for the night, was there from the beginning to the end, and was absolutely incredible. He was helpful, very attentive, and made us both feel so comfortable throughout the day. Thank you, Robert. Now, we have to get to the #1 reason why Union Station is a 5 star venue, and that is the event coordinator, Neil Gadbois. One of the main reasons we chose Union Station outside of how beautiful it was, is because of Neil. We knew right from the start that he was an absolute professional, who really cares about the couples he works with. Neil was amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process, and was always available to answer any questions we had. Neil is one of the kindest individuals we have met and was professional and efficient throughout. Fast forward to our actual wedding day IT WAS PERFECT. We succumbed to the fact that something would go wrong, but it did not. The entire staff at Union Station were on top of everything and we received a plethora of compliments as to how our wedding day was the smoothest, most perfect wedding anyone has ever seen, which is a testament to the greatness of Neil and his staff. In closing, if you are looking to have an amazing, seamless wedding experience that you will never forget look no further than Union Station. We are so grateful for our experience at Union Station and could not recommend it enough!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN TO NEIL AND THE STAFF!!!"

"This place rocks. If you come to Northampton, you need to visit Joe's Café. It really has the best pizza outside New York (except the original pizzeria Regina in the North End of Boston. The owners of this place are on earth and are always on hand to ensure that food is perfect. The original decor adds to the authentic feeling of the place. The spaghetti and mussels and clams are lace notches, and Joe's house special pizza will eat you until you are sick because it is so delicious. Sometimes the waiter is surly, (OK, in Fairness, it is more accurate to say the waiter is often surly, but the food is so excellent, it is worth looking at."
