"We arrived Perpignan late in the afternoon and set off from the train station, hungry and eager to find a place to eat. We soon discovered that almost all restaurants were closed (it was after lunch service). As we walked passed the restaurant we saw the door was still open and we went in. We were met by a smiling lady who welcomed us and made us really nice salads, she gave us time to eat, made coffe and dessert and eventually she had to close the restaurant to get to her doctor's appoyintment (but by then we were all full and happy and we never felt rushed!). When we got outside we reallised that the restaurant should have closed an hour earlier - she stayed late for us and she was so polite and welcoming.We will definitely go back next time we are in town!"
