"Had high hopes, but it was not to be: as a 1st generation Colombian I was so excited to find a good Colombian street food. but this place was not. below is my personal assessment of 5 different straightened cheapaire- not bad, the traditional ananas sauce (it was hardly detectable) the brot was roasted, which was different, a woke was strange for something that was big. total 3.5 stars arepa rellena-much room to improve. the arepa was dry, tasteless (which is not the type of arepa used for filled versions normally) and the filling was underwhelming. quiero arepa has much better options and love to detail. total 1 star. frijolada- it was a good attempt. the chicharrón had no crispy, the top layer was missing (mostly fat), the avocado was old (hard no green), and the ground bark was missing scalions for additional taste. a total of 2.5 starebuñuelo- disappointed. this is the one that I am on most and unfortunately disappointed by most. the size was hardly larger than a golf ball (the traditional size is at least twice as large), the teig was too salty and it was also strongly undercooked. (see picture) total 1 star. pandebono- not sure what this is (see picture) the more round article on the picture is what we traditionally make home and I'm not sure what this was, but it wasn't a pandebono. it was not very “heavy”, it was heavy and heavy, not airy. whatever cheese was used was not the normal art. a total of 2.5 stars. I hope that this will be taken as a constructive feedback and not as a deportation. I would love to be one of my favorite places to go if I fixed a fast Colombian fix. Maybe it was a bad night, but 5 out of 5 orders missing is disappointing to say the least. ultimately the service was great. the staff was very helpful and friendly."
