"Our experience at Zizzi was terrible, we came midweek on a quiet evening and waited 10 minutes to be seated. After this it took a further 15 minutes to take our order. The sides got sent out as a starter which was very disappointing. We were then left a further half an hour without checking on us and nobody around to take our drinks order. Then we managed to flag somebody down, they got us drinks and bought over one portion of food despite ordering 2 meals. We then spoke to the manager who was stood on her phone and she was rude patronising and claimed they were busy. Busier enough for her to stand on her phone. The chef came over and told us our order had been missed. The food was cold and obviously reheated. All while this was happening one if the young waitresses was crying down the corridor. All in all the service was terrible, management and a joke and a wasted evening out. Would definitely not recommend."

"We were 4 people for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. However the food was disappointing. They had no hollandaise sauce so that eliminated half the menu. The avocado egg on toast was a thin piece of sourdough, thin scraping of avocado 2 poached eggs! Expensive for the mediocre portion! £54 for 4 people for breakfast, won’t be back!"

"We have been here several times this time the menu seemed smaller and there were no offers on line or when we were served and no specials but the food is always good. The shop is a bonus offering their food to cater at home for yourself. Glad you have survived the times and we will return be even more tempting with a return offer or discount. Never give you much bread with your starter that’s the only negative for me but as a chain we know we will get a good meal and at the moment it’s the next best thing to being in Italy"

"We booked here for breakfast before traveling to Edinburgh for a special Birthday. The service was top notch from Faye who couldn't do enough for us the food was delicious. When the bill came, the Birthday girl's meal had been deducted courtesy of Carluccios. Lovely gesture much appreciated."
