"After living and working in Italy for many years, including traveling around the country for holidays, I can safely say that Azzurro Ristorante in Arbroath is an excellent quality, and very authentic Italian restaurant. We had tasty focaccia rosemary, and tomato and chilli prawns to share -both delicious! We then had pasta- le penne all’ arrabbiata which was exquisite, risotto with chicken and mushrooms, again expertly cooked, and king prawn tomato spaghetti- again, all absolutely delicious. The menu caters for all tastes, and is very reasonably priced, but above all, the food is of excellent quality. The pasta dishes took us back to wonderful holidays in Roma and Lazio region, and was reminiscent of the fabulous flavours of “la dolce vita in Italia!” You have to support this wonderful local restaurant, and I am sure you will love it as much as we do, and will become regular visitors for Roberto’s kind hospitality, his amazing family-focused food and hospitality, and a very reasonable bring your own alcohol option too. Book with Azzurro Ristorante Arbroath, and I guarantee you’ll not be disappointed!"

"Tbh the food was ok but I’m more concerned about the staff they have working there as frankly just rude and don’t have one bit customer service standing with a full shop on there phones talking about us as when we looked they laughed. I personally know that one of there staff members don’t wash and ain’t hygienic one bit. Such a good place and such a shame they hire people like that"

"Visited this quaint little eatery in Kirriemuir and was really impressed. Entrance is up a close and it leads into two-tiny rooms with a genuie homely atmosphere, emphasised by the fact that the whole , show was being run by a staff of one! The lady in charge welcomed us warmly, apologised for the lack of staff but still managed to achieve a friendly, efficient service as well as prepare an excellent lunch.A brunch panini was something special and a helping of the home-made chocolate cake washed down by an excellent pot of Early Grey tea cost a mere £13 for the two of us. Good value to say the least."

"Came here as saw they had an extensive gluten free menu and wasn 't disappointed! I had three course chicken wings, chicken burger and then small sundae. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Only a couple of gripes on the menu it says the burger comes with coleslaw but when it came, it didn 't have any so I asked and the waitress said 'oh yeah, not anymore. ' So I paid extra for coleslaw. This is disappointing and menus should be updated to reflect this. Same with my dessert, it said it would come with a cadburys flake, and again, no flake. The gluten free menu was great for starters and mains but the desserts are really lacking, I noticed Eton mess on the main dessert menu which wasn 't on the GF menu which I thought was really strange as this is usually naturally gluten fre! Would definitely be back."

"Horrible place- attitude, service, and food suck! We went for my nephew's birthday and what a mistake it was! We ordered a extra large pizza and BBQ wings combo. They made a large pizza and told us the wings were not included that we would have to pay for them separately. We called the owner to our table and she had a disgusting attitude. She was rude and would not compensate for HER mistake. It took the waiter different trips to bring plates for appetizers and drinks. To make things even better the waiter never brought silverware. One of our family members ordered salad with vinegar dressing...they brought the wrong dressing! I ordered the seafood stew. I have ordered this previously and it was amazing! It came with scallops, shrimp, clams, muscles, and crab legs. This time it came with shrimps, clams, and muscles and noodles. No where in the description does it say noodles and it left out half of the seafood. Additionally, they lost their liquor license so this is a forewarning as to their service and idiocy. Definitely lost a customer tonight! I recommend Cafe Solè just up the street."
