"I was fortunate enough a number of years ago to come across the restaurant on a previous trip to Zurich and have been visiting on each and every occasion since. The atmosphere is always warms, friendly and inviting. The service is prompt and the food is excellent with prices that are very reasonable for Zurich. It's also niice that the staff remember you from previous visits and make you feel welcome from the moment you enter. I would strongly recommend this place for a visit."

"Ein fabelhafter Ort , um sich zurückzuziehen, persönliche Gespräche zu führen und dabei noch gut zu essen und trinken. Der Blick auf den Bahnhofsplatz, verbunden mit Lärm, Staub und Hektik lässt hier ein wohliges Gefühl aufkommen. Im Service arbeiten fast ausschliesslich junge und motivierte Mitarbeiterinnen."

"Hermanseck crafts its own beer and it is really fabulous. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but this had just the right balance of bitter and sweet and was very tasty, indeed! The service was friendly and professional, the only thing I could criticize would be the vegi menu, which like most restaurants that offer veggie dishes, kind of falls short of what it could be for a vegetarian. The knödel were fantastic, the pilz ragout was good, but a bit watery and neutral in taste. Just because it's vegetarian doesn't mean it can't be very flavorful and creative. Dessert was also good, but nothing special. The restaurant has a relaxing mod atmosphere and would fit the bill if you are looking to try some great craft beer! Foodwise, I would say they could up their game as there are quite a few of similar "beizli" which have great service and great food (but maybe not such great beer...!)"

"I enjoyed several meals at Accademia, both at lunch and dinner. Its always a pleasure to eat here. Food is always top, be it the starters, pasta or the mains from land and sea. At lunch they always offer some good value set menus. Nice restaurant, service rather formal but very friendly and professional."

"Title says it all. A bit pretentious for no good reason. Food was nothing special. Pasta was bland no flavor and not al dente. Veal scaloppine in lemon sauce was swimming in butter made me nauseous. The only saving grace was the espresso. Could be the best I ever had. Service was super slow. Had audacity to ask for tip even though there was already a service charge on the menu. I will NOT return"

"Luxe pas du tout ostentatoire, déco moderne dans un cadre fait de plafond et parois de bois sombre, on s'y sent tout de suite à l'aise, et le personnel vous conseille et vous écoute sans être envahissant. Très bonne viande , saumon sur le grill parfait, carte des vins impressionnante et champagne rosé servi bien frais, tout est réuni pour passer un très agréable moment ."

"The meat of Bärengasse is undoubtedly goodIs it exceptionally good ? Is it extraordinarily well cooked ?Is there any originality in the overall cuisine ?Is there anything awesome (sauces, fries, service...) ?No, no, no, no.Nothing you could do by yourself, buying a good meat and cooking it on your grill at home.But the prices are for sure extremely high. Add to that a highly crowded place which does not facilitate discussions...all in all, a place in which you do not feel that you really ger quality for money spent. Much better alternatives (e.g. August) exist in Zürich."
