"On Aug 2, 2017 my wife and I attempted to make reservation at this establishment. The employee who met us as we entered the restaurant related that the manager would take the reservation. My wife and I observed the manager write our names down and we departed. Later that evening we arrived at the appointed time for dinner. The host related that we did not have a reservation and he would need to speak with the manager / bartender. The host attempted to seat 4 of us at table for 2 at the Riptide Pub. When my wife tried to talk with the manager; he responded with these things happen and no solution. After a great deal of arguing we were seated at an acceptable table. The wait staff was acceptable as well as the food. There are other places to eat with better food and service and I would suggest you do so."

"We were visiting from Vancouver and were looking for real Thai food no fusion food). Funny thing was we called them and asked, “Are you serving Authentic Thai” Honestly.. Best Thai food… This was one of the best part of our trip.. Our server was great too .. Highly recommended place"

"Ate there one night in august 2013, after seeing "Italian food" on the window along with "Koreanshort ribs". Who can go wrong? Went inside to see the place half full, about 5 couples eating, mostly locals. The place is run by "mom & pop" , along with kids. Very nice. Everyone is superpolite. Now, lets talk about the food. I ordered the pasta carbonara, and my wife had pasta with salmon in it. My pasta was the best I've had in a long time. The same about my wifes pasta withthe fresh salmon. Who would have thought after going to Italy about 8 times in my life that I would find the best pasta carbonara in Campbell River Canada, cooked up by a Korean. It was great!!"

"After close to 15 years, it's safe to say it's just best. One of those places where you want to try something else on the menu but can't bring yourself to not have the Coquille St. Jacques and chicken cordon bleu with chocolate mousse as dessert accompanied by a bottle of Jlor.... Welcomed like family every time."
