"We've been missing from the Saracen tables for a few years... mementos of good previous experiences we can say we have found the quality we remember. friendly local... caring, young and attentive service..... high-level kitchen. the great protagonist of the dishes of chef proto is the sea and we can guarantee that you will hardly find restaurants that so well value fish as the Saracen. our route starts with a series of appetizers offered by the kitchen and a pre dinner that is a splendid fried shrimp elbow with notes of licorice that we had already tasted and which proves worthy of a place in paper. start with a starter: the red prawn is made in 4 .... beautiful to see and interesting in the tasting since it offers 4 variations of shrimp among which stands out in our opinion the false tomato with tartare of the crustacean itself.... then we pass to a very delicate and well balanced raviolo with buffalo ricotta, clams, lemon and fave that reminds us of the origins of the chef.... the citrus note (the lemon) and the buffalo dairy bring us back to the coast and are elements that we will find as a fil rouge in other dishes.... We then choose 2 main courses: a fried of squid, crustaceans and vegetables really well executed and then what for us is the dish of the evening: Elogio alla Pezzogna.... Here too the protagonist of the dish is presented in three different variations: in aquapazza with an excellent brodetto ... to tartare with lemon and cappero powder and then with a surprise that we found a really fun and brilliant idea: a scarlet pizza (live the bell! with handpieces for the purpose.... great reach. we conclude with two desserts anticipated by a coconut ball with a liquid heart of pine colada (graditissimo cadeau) : we taste “Banana tribute ad andy warhol” (in memory of the cover of the famous album of velvet underground designed by him) beautiful aesthetically and at play between the sweetness of the banana and the acid and fresh note of the fruit sauce that a accompany it and then a sweet sauce made in the In short, from the Saracen you can enjoy... we thank and congratulate you for a kitchen that has enjoyed, aesthetics and also that hint of irony and game that never spoils.
